Vintage tube Emerson radio. When plugged in and turned on there is a hum through the speaker. That is all I know about it.

I received the following info from an interested reader, thank you Christopher.

The radio is an Emerson "Model T", from 1932. It's a pretty basic AM unit. The fact that you say it makes a hum shows that most of the set is in working condition, so it should be easy to repair and get playing again. The code printed on the back of the chassis is both the model number and the serial number.
