My retirement is your gain! Listed below is ALMOST everything you need to upgrade or start making maple syrup in your back yard!
Silver Creek 18x34x6 Divided Maple Syrup Evaporator averaged between 3 to 4 GPH boil off (used 2 seasons) with 3 extra fittings on Syrup pan to reverse flow, (pan has a divider gap, see pictures and < https://mapletrader.com/community/showthread.php?35439-Is-my-pan-still-usable&p=381340#post381340>) Warming Pan and Valves, Float pan and fittings, Bascom 3" Dial Thermometer, 0-50 with 6" Stem and Swivel Head. 0 is boiling and Telstra BC350R Bottom Connect Thermometer, 3 inch dial, 304SS. Murphy Compensation Cup with GOLD SERIES Syrup Hydrometer SKU: SL-GOLD along with cleaning brushes, Skimmer Ladle Screen and filters. To reverse the flow, you close the valve to the float pan, disconnect the union joint, move the float pan to the other side and connect it to the union joint.
Home Built Reverse osmosis unit 36” x 18” included. One pre filter (included) and 3 three stage RO membrane housings in series (you must supply the membranes) along with extra fitting. The three 3 (three) Residential 100 GPD Membrane you will need to purchase are available at Amazon. Search “100 GPD Reverse Osmosis Membrane Water Filter Replacement for RO”
The Sap collection system has 200’ of 3/16” semi rigid and 800’ of new light blue Leader 3/16’ rigid tubing, 3/16" CDL COMPACT INSERTION PLIERS CDL SKU: 73067, 63 Leader Clear Check Valve Spout 3/16’, Portable brix 0-10% refractometer, tapping bit, Aquatec CDP 8800 pump, vacuum gauges, 3 - 32 gallon Brute food grade plastic collection bins, 5 - 5 gallon food grade pails.
To help you finish you syrup there is a Chefs 6 quart stainless steel pail with clear lid, handle and tip handle, a 6 quart funnel with filter and Milwaukee MA871 Digital Brix Refractometer.
Finally to keep you dry, there is an 10 x 8 metal frame for a shack. You need to prove the plastic to go over it.
The evaporator was new in 2019 and used for two seasons. I packed all this away after the 2020 season and we moved to Nebraska. It has been in storage for 1 year and then sitting in my insulated garage for the last 4 years. I’m 70 and will not be making syrup any more.

You will need to provide your own 34” x 18” arch or a backyard cement/cinder block arch. Search Google for “How to Build an Evaporator (from stuff laying around)” and you will find instructions on how to build one plus many youtube videos on the topic.
