Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our team. This position is responsible for building and assembling high-quality custom doors to customer specifications while maintaining precision, efficiency, and craftsmanship standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in hands-on work, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate custom interior and exterior doors based on work orders and specifications
Measure, cut, assemble, sand, and finish door components accurately
Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
Interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
Follow all company safety procedures and policies
Qualifications:
Previous woodworking, carpentry, millwork, or fabrication experience preferred
Experience using saws, sanders, routers, and other shop equipment
Ability to read measurements and work with precision tools
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Willingness to learn and grow within the company
Preferred Skills:
Custom door or cabinet fabrication experience
Blueprint or shop drawing interpretation
Finish carpentry background
