Great guitar for a beginner at much lower than music store prices. I have done a complete set up of this instrument including fret dressing so that all the frets are smooth, lowering of the strings at the nut so that the guitar is much easier to play, especially for a beginner, correction of intonation so that the guitar plays in tune as it is played higher on the neck and then a compete polishing of the guitar to bring back some of its original luster. All new strings of a light gauge again to improve the ease of play. It has 2 single coil pick ups at the neck and middle position and then a humbucker style pick up at the bridge position. New guitars in a music store will never play this well as factory setups do not compare to the care I take with my setups.
