The superior stainless steel blade measures 11-inches long. Its hidden, or stick, tang is deeply inserted into a shed elk spike antler and permanently attached with industrial strength epoxy. The spike was treated with potassium permanganate to achieve the dark natural color, sanded and polished. After crafting the knife, it was shipped to one of the foremost leather sheath makers in the country, Albert Thomas. He and his wife, Karen, operate the eBay store alscrafts. The sheath was custom handmade to fit the dagger and shipped back to me.
